From May the 9th to May the 12th Viareggio will host the third edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous, where Azimut Yachts will showcase, on water, nine yachts ranging from 10 to 27 metres. These will include two yachts from the Atlantis Collection, the sport cruisers featuring an open design with a hardtop: Atlantis 45, the first major new addition of 2019 available from September, and Atlantis 51, an open design with a sporty character that offers outstanding comfort and performance.Atlantis 45 is the successor to the previous model, Atlantis 43, a very popular yacht that has exceeded all expectations with over 140 yachts delivered in four years.
Featuring a Volvo IPS propulsion, this yacht takes on the same design cues introduced by its older version, the Atlantis 51: the upper part of the stem rises vertically, partially stretching forward to boost the dynamics of a boat with a strong sporty character, while its hull windows stretch along the entire side, once again bringing out the sharpness of this yacht's contours and its sporty soul. The aft garage can accommodate a tender of up to 2.5 meters in length.
It has excellent visibility when driving thanks to lightweight uprights and without a central upright (single windscreen). The Main Deck and the Flush Deck are without steps, the stern and bow sundecks are extremely generous in the size below deck. Its spacious structure, given by the design will to maintain the kitchen and dinette one in front of the other, takes on the excellent features of the 43, it boasts two cabins: the owner's cabin and a second one in the middle of the boat, with two beds that can be joined together, if required, to make a double bed. A third bed can also be added. And two bathrooms, both with separate shower cabins. The rooms are very spacious and cosy, also due to a total width of 4.25 metres. The Atlantis 45 also has a huge storage capacity: almost 8,000 liters available for storing luggage, equipment and provisioning. It is a perfect boat to enter the Azimut world with a best in class product.
Along with the new model, visitors will also be able to admire Atlantis 51, the only boat in its category to remain a true sports open with maximum speed of 35 knots (the most powerful engine on the market thanks to the two Volvo IPS 800 of 600 hp each, that allow the boat to reach a maximum speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of about 32 knots) and at the same time to offer 3 cabins without giving up the dinette below deck. It is therefore a yacht that possesses the authentic character of an open yacht, offering wide interiors thanks to the wide beam (4.5 m) and striking design by Neo Design.a yacht that possesses the authentic character of an open yacht, offering large interiors thanks to its wide beam (4.5 m) and striking design, by Neo Design. The Main Deck was conceived as a large lounge area, while the Lower Deck features three cabins and a dining area in the middle with a folding table. In the engine room, two Volvo IPS 800 engines with an output of 600 hp each allow the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of about 32 knots.
As for the Flybridge Collection, the yachts featured in Viareggio will be the Azimut Fly 50, which brings together 16 metres of elegance, innovation and nautical excellence, the hallmark of the Avigliana brand since its inception; the Azimut Flybridge 60 and 66, models whose exteriors and concept were designed by Stefano Righini and which feature sleek and sharp contours, as well as cutting-edge solutions in every aspect of the yacht; and, last but not least, the Flybridge 72.
From the S Collection, which stands out for its elegance and boldness, on show in Viareggio will be the 77S, the epitome of this concept in terms of its striking appearance, perfectly balanced by a stylish design, and the S6, a high-tech coupé. Both yachts distinguish themselves thanks to a combination of Carbon Tech and triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion. The exteriors designed by Stefano Righini recall and emphasise the sporty character of the S Collection: the large glazing on the diamond-shaped deckhouse creates a gleam effect that perfectly matches the boat's sharp contours, giving it a distinctive edge.
Francesco Guida designed the interiors, opting for a modern and understated glamour, with a fresh and refined touch.
Visitors will also be able to admire the Grande 27 Metri, designed by Stefano Righini, a wide body superyacht boasting a unique design that perfectly balances its exteriors with unmatched indoor space and interior furnishings designed by Achille Salvagni, featuring colour and material contrasts, while the furniture consists of unique pieces of custom-designed and made-to-measure furniture.Marco Valle, managing director of Azimut Yachts, commented: "Our new Atlantis 45 is a perfect boat for the Italian market, which shows great interest in products of this size, suitable for use in the Mediterranean region. For this reason, the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous is the perfect platform for its launch.
