AZIMUT ATTENDS SINGAPORE YACHTING FESTIVAL 2024
Azimut will be the protagonist of the Singapore Yachting Festival 2024 with the Asian debut of the award-winning Magellano 60, the latest crossover from the Series of the same name. Two models from the Fly Series will share the stage with the impressive Azimut Grande Trideck flagship also on display in the One 15 Marina.
Azimut shines in the Singapore Yachting Festival, the main Asian fair dedicated to yachting lifestyle, scheduled from the 25th to the 28th of April, which will see the new Magellano 60 presented for the first time in Asia.
This region is becoming increasingly important for Azimut. Sales have grown by 40% over the past four years, with the Grande Series leading the way: for the Trideck model alone, two units have recently been delivered to Hong Kong and Singapore – both iconic Asian yachting hubs – and two are scheduled for delivery in the coming months. This is made possible by the network of local partners throughout the region, thanks to which Azimut guarantees the best service for customers in the various strategic areas.
The rapidly growing Singaporean market is leading the brand’s expansion in Asia. The opening of the new offices at One 15 Marina Club in Sentosa and the sale of two units of the Grande 26M in the last three months are evidence of the solid interest and growing demand in the area, confirming Azimut’s continuous commitment to meet the needs of Asian customers.
Enrico Chiaussa, Chief Commercial Officer of Azimut, comments: “Azimut continues to strengthen its leadership in the Asian market, supported by the most extensive range of products in the world – with a fleet of highly innovative yachts appreciated by customers – as well as by the consolidated Dealer network which now includes 12 different partners integrated in the territory for a targeted assistance to our clients”.
The next edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival will see Azimut’s Magellano 60 make her first appearance in Asia Pacific. A crossover characterized by a timeless design and elegant lines, the Magellano 60 is designed for owners who love long cruises and enjoy spending time on board. The Shipyard has brought the latest developments from the Azimut|Benetti Group R&D Department to this model to reduce emissions and generally improve life on board. The Magellano 60 was chosen for the first voyages powered by HVOlution, the biofuel produced by Eni Live (Eni Sustainable Mobility) with 100% renewable raw materials* which, combined with the high efficiency Dual Mode hull, has enabled a well-to-wake CO2 emissions reduction exceeding 80% compared to a similarly sized vessel powered by fossil fuel oil. Furthermore, Azimut has introduced a new home automation system that brings artificial intelligence aboard the Magellano 60 for smart management of the yacht, developed by the Shipyard in partnership with Google Cloud and Reply; through a proprietary app, it is possible to interact with the yacht via commands that allow you to control, even remotely, various onboard functions.
Alongside the Magellano 60, the Fly 53 and Fly 78 will also be on show at Azimut’s stand. The Fly 53 is dressed in sleek lines, which hide surprisingly large interior spaces for the 50-foot segment, perfect for those who want to cruise in absolute comfort. The Fly 78 features a layout that maximizes comfort and privacy ─ with clear separation of the crew and guests ─ and a highly versatile living area, to meet the needs of the contemporary owner.
In addition, moored in the One 15 Marina, Azimut also showcases one unit of Grande Trideck which, with her 38 metres and three decks + One, proposes a revolutionary layout. Along with three decks, the Azimut Grande Trideck also features an additional floating deck, known as the Sea View Terrace, that appears to be suspended in air, two meters above the water. The Sea View terrace is the principle of “+ One”, a new design concept and a testament to Azimut’s innovative capacity; the feature offers the owner four cascading terraces onto the sea, unique in function, size and flexibility.
The Azimut Grande Trideck offers innovative solutions also from a technological point of view with the second-generation D2P® Displacement to Planning hull. The combination of this hull and carbon superstructure means a significant improvement in performance: lower fuel consumption, higher speed and longer range. From concept and design to innovation in performance and technology, the Azimut Grande Trideck is truly a revolutionary model that perfectly represents Azimut’s spirit.
With this line-up, Azimut is preparing to welcome customers from a foundational market in global business. The Shipyard aims to maintain its leadership position in the area and project itself with confidence into the future with a customer-oriented approach and consolidated relationships with local partners.
